About David Kudler

I am a writer, editor and sometime actor (AEA/SAG/AFTRA, for what it's worth) living just north of the Golden Gate Bridge with my wife and daughters. And cat. And many guppies. A few years ago, i started a small independent publishing company, Stillpoint Digital Press, where I've worked to create fine audiobook, ebook, and print editions. Struggling to find people of like mind, I wandered into a BAIPA meeting. Two-plus years later, and I'm still here. Actually, I'm president of the board. Wow. I have overseen the publications program of the Joseph Campbell Foundation since 1999. I have edited three posthumous volumes of Campbell's unpublished writing and lectures and overseen editions of ten additional print titles, including the third edition of the seminal Hero with a Thousand Faces. I'm writing a young adult historical adventure novel (whew! lots of qualifications on that!) set in Japan during the sixteenth-century Civil War era. If you would like to contact me—to ask me questions about my work or about my availability, please feel free to email me at david@stillpointdigital.com!
